WKG Water treatment systems are assembled with the highest quality commercial grade components, professionally installed, configured and tested to ensure trouble free operation and to minimize your time and effort to keep them effective.

After installation, our technician will explain the operation and maintenance needed for your system. Time clocks, solution settings and re-generation cycles will all be pre-set and tested during the installation. We will also return for a “30-Day check-up” to ensure the equipment is set-up for optimal performance and to fine-tune the settings if necessary. Once this is done, there is a minimal amount of maintenance necessary on your system. At your request, we will gladly train you on the simple steps required to keep your system producing quality water to your home and give you on-demand phone support should you have any questions or need help. The routine maintenance procedures for our systems takes approximately fifteen minutes a month or less.

Chlorination / De-chlorination Treatment Systems
CTS well treatment systems requires the chlorine solution tank to be replenished with chlorine and water at the ratio determined by WKG Water. Most systems use from 2 to 4 gallons of chlorine per month depending on usage and mixing ratios.

Activated Carbon Filtration Systems
ACF Activated Carbon Filtration systems require no monthly maintenance.

Soft Water Filtration Systems
SWF Softening systems require monthly replenishment of the salt in the brine tank, ranging from 40 to 80 pounds depending on usage.

Microline RO-TFC Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Systems
RO-TFC systems require no monthly maintenance. The pre-filters will need to be changed between 6 to 12 months depending on usage.

Ultraviolet Sterilization Systems
UVS systems will need replacement bulbs installed when they burn out, usually 12 to 24 months.

Long Term Maintenance
All WKG Water CDS, ACF and SWF systems contain filtration media (carbon, softening resin or filter sand); that will require replacement at the end of their life cycle or “re-bedding”. This life cycle varies based on the media type and usage from 3 to 7 years. Reverse osmosis membranes will last from 5 to 7 years with proper maintenance of the pre and post filters.

Monthly Maintenance Service
WKG Water also offers professional monthly maintenance on all our systems for a nominal monthly fee including all chemicals and supplies as needed. This service is available to all our customers without contract or obligation. You can start or stop the service at anytime, simply give us a call.
